Alexa is a Senior Product Designer at Charter Communications building accessible, innovative products focused on delivering news and sports to Spectrum customers. Working across a variety of products and platforms, she has scaled native mobile and TV apps through feature enhancements and led large-scale redesigns. For each client, she pairs her robust service background with research and design best practices to solve their unique, complex problems.

Spectrum News User Profiles

A large-scale effort to bring user profiles and cross-device carryover to the Spectrum News App. I am leading the project’s strategy and discovery while contributing to the execution of the new features on Connected TV devices.

WCAG 2.0 Improvements

Charter maintains accessibility standards higher than WCAG AA. This project explored the improvement of the Spectrum News App’s Weather Experience to remove any barriers for individuals with disabilities.

Designed changes to the CTV app’s navigation structure with a goal to improve the discoverability of Video On Demand content and reduce live stream redundancy.

My first large scale launch at Charter! I spent most of 2022 driving the direction, leading the design and executing on the details for the launch of Spectrum Reach’s new lead-gen website.


Summer 2021

General Assembly UX Apprenticeship

Spent three months learning and practicing UX foundations. Ended the program by working cross-functionally with business stakeholders, product managers, and web development teams at Memora Health.
